By accessing and using DevStash ("the Service"), you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. Our Privacy Policy describes how we collect and use personal information and is incorporated into this agreement by reference.
DevStash is a read-it-later application for developers. You may save articles, documentation, and other resources in the cloud, organize them with collections and tags, and search your collection. The Service may also fetch titles, descriptions, and previews from bookmarked URLs, offer AI-assisted features such as chat over your bookmarks, text-to-speech for saved articles, and video transcription in reader view, use session replay and diagnostics in the browser to improve reliability, and provide feedback and support channels. Features may change over time.
The Service uses a credit-based model for certain actions. New accounts receive welcome credits to get started. Many library management actions are free; creating bookmarks, AI features, and other paid actions consume credits. Credit costs and pack pricing are described on our Credits page. We may change credit costs or pricing over time as described in the "Credits and Payments" section below.
New accounts receive a one-time allotment of welcome credits. Additional credits may be purchased in optional credit packs through Stripe.
Credits are consumed when you perform certain actions in the Service, such as creating bookmarks or using AI features. Each action costs a fixed number of credits as described on our Credits page. Credits are deducted only after an action succeeds.
Purchased credits are non-transferable between accounts and are generally non-refundable, except where required by applicable law. If you believe a charge was made in error, contact us promptly.
Payment processing is handled by Stripe and is subject to Stripe's terms and policies. We do not store full payment card numbers on our servers.
We may change credit costs, welcome credit amounts, or pack pricing at any time. We will update the Credits page when pricing changes. Continued use of the Service after pricing changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated costs.
We do not guarantee a perpetual free tier, fixed pricing, or any minimum credit balance.

Optional AI features may process your bookmark-related text and prompts using third-party models (for example OpenAI). These include chat over your bookmarks, video transcription, and text-to-speech for saved articles. Outputs may be incomplete or incorrect. The Service does not provide professional, legal, financial, or medical advice. You are solely responsible for decisions you make based on AI outputs. Do not submit information you are not permitted to send to an external API (including highly sensitive personal data) if you are not comfortable with that processing, as described in the Privacy Policy.
The Service relies on third-party providers (including without limitation GitHub, Supabase, Vercel, OpenAI, Stripe, and Resend) as further described in the Privacy Policy. Your use of features that depend on a provider may also be subject to that provider's terms, policies, and acceptable use rules, to the extent they apply to you. We are not responsible for third-party services we do not control.
Your bookmarks are stored in Supabase. Row Level Security (RLS) restricts access so that, under normal operation, only you can read and modify your own bookmark data. Supabase provides encryption in transit and at rest as described in its documentation; RLS is an access-control mechanism. How we collect, use, and share personal data—including session replay, AI processing, and feedback—is explained in our Privacy Policy.
DevStash is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be available at all times, uninterrupted, or error-free. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service at any time without notice.
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, DEVSTASH SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, RESULTING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.
The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by DevStash and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws.
We may terminate or suspend your access to the Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach the Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease.
We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will try to provide at least 30 days notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion.
